The power unit №3 was plugged in after scheduled overhaul on July 5. The power unit is getting power according to the regulations at the moment. There are three power units in work at the moment at the Smolensk NPP. The total capacity is 2693 megawatts. There are no comments to work of equipment.

The Smolensk NPP power units have developed 240 million kilowatt hours of electricity for 6 days in July, exceeding the planned target on 8 million kilowatt hours. Since the beginning of the year it has been produced 12 billion 188 million kilowatt hours of electricity, over the plan - 686 million Kwh.

The radiation background is unchanged and corresponds to natural values on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The SNPP annually issues on the average about 20 billion kilowatts hours of the electric power into country power supply system, that constitutes about 13% of the energy, developed in «Rosenergoatom Concern», and more than 80% of the Smolensk region energy, developed by the power entities.
