The Smolensk NPP exceeded the plan for power generation by 2.5 percent in 2014

The electricity generation plan amounted to 23.674 billion KWh of electricity in 2014, while the plan was 23.96 billion kWh. The annual plan is executed on 102,5%.
 
The capacity factor (load factor) was 90.07% with 87.88% planned target.

The Smolensk NPP has three power units at work at the moment. The total capacity is 3185 megawatts. There are no comments to the operation of the equipment

The Smolensk NPP power units have developed 839 million kilowatt hours of electricity within 12 days of January, which exceeds the planned target by 38 million kilowatt hours.

The radiation background is unchanged and corresponds to natural values on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The SNPP annually issues on the average about 20 billion kilowatts hours of the electric power into country power supply system, that constitutes about 13% of the energy, developed in «Rosenergoatom Concern», and more than 80% of the Smolensk region energy, developed by the power entities.
