The Smolensk NPP has two power units operating. The total capacity is 2105 megawatts. There are no remarks to the equipment work. Power unit №2 has been in planned average repair for a period of 42 days since October 9.

Since early October the power units of the Smolensk NPP have developed 1.089 billion kilowatt hours of electricity. Since the beginning of the year it has been produced 19 billion 414 million kilowatt hours of electricity, over the plan - 1 billion 570 million kilowatt hours.

The radiation background is unchanged and corresponds to natural values on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The SNPP annually issues on the average about 20 billion kilowatts hours of the electric power into country power supply system, that constitutes about 13% of the energy, developed in «Rosenergoatom Concern», and more than 80% of the Smolensk region energy, developed by the power entities.
