Bilibino NPP: power unit No. 2 has been shut down for a scheduled repair

On April 16, 2011 at 00:43 (local time) power unit No. 2 of Bilibino NPP was shutdown for 60 days for midlife scheduled repair. During this period the scheduled operations on the NPP equipment and systems repair will be carried out.

The Collective Agreement for 2011 has been approved at Bilibino NPP

The Collective Agreement for 2011 has been approved at Bilibino NPP. In the course of reporting conference of the work collective, which was held on April 1, the participants unanimously adopted a decision to prolong the term of the BNPP Collective Agreement with the amendments introduced by joint decisions of the administration and trade union committee in 2010-2011.

In March of 2011, Bilibino NPP power units generated 15.271 mln kWh of electric power. The utilization factor of maximum capacity amounted to 42.76 %.
