The World Day of Occupational Safety and Health, devoted to the memory of victims of industrial accidents, is annually celebrated under the aegis of the World Labor Association on April 28.

A solemn hoisting of Bilibino NPP flag “Labor Protection” under the motto “Safe Labor is the Right of Everyone” was held on April, 28. On that day, within the framework of the World Day of Occupational Safety and Health, the events aimed at improvement of labor safety and conditions, the propaganda of labor safety at the nuclear plant, forming of the employees’ healthy life-style were held.

Taking into consideration labor safety importance in such a high technological production as nuclear branch, unscheduled instructions concerning industrial accidents prevention were organized and Beloyarsk Nuclear Plant Act of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC inspection was worked out with the purpose of drawing attention of Bilibino NPP administration, specialists and workers to the solution of the problems of labor safety, industrial accidents and occupational morbidity prevention as well as the support of the indexes of accidents reached by Bilibino NPP. Production meetings on the results of the Day of Occupational Safety and Health, where public empowers appeared with the reports on the labor safety condition in the subdivisions and discussed problematic questions, were held within subdivisions. The work on the Bilibino NPP personnel working condition improvement is constantly held.
