Novovoronezh NPP was visited by the group of General Inspection of Concern "Rosenergoatom"
On May 17-18, 2011 Novovoronezh NPP was visited by the group of General inspection of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC led by General Inspector Eric Pozdyshev. He met Director of the NPP Vladimir Povarov and the experts of the nuclear power plant, and held a working meeting with Chief Inspector of the Novovoronezh NPP Alexander Kogtev.

In the Public Information Centre of Kursk NPP heads and experts of the NPP have met the representatives of the Kursk branch of public organization “Union of women of Russia”.

Rostov NPP: a vacancies fair for youth was held in the information centre
On May 18t 2011 there was held a regional youth fair of vacancies and educational workplaces “Make your choice” in the Rostov NPP information centre. The organizer of the action was State Enterprise “Employment center for the population of Volgodonsk” under the support of the Rostov NPP.

Kalinin NPP: charitable action for veterans
The charitable action concerning laying-in of fire wood for the war veterans and workers on the home front was held  in Udomlya (Tver region). Kalinin NPP Youth organization and “United Russia” party organization of Kalinin NPP become its initiators for the second year now.

Balakovo NPP: load increase is going on at power unit No. 4
Since May 16, 09:28 p.m., after the failure correction and the commissioning of the equipment power supply unit, the load increase is gong on at power unit No. 4.

According to the results of 2010, Smolensk NPP has been recognized to be the best nuclear plant
According to the results of 2010, Smolensk NPP (Desnogorsk city of Smolensk region) was recognized to be the winner of the corporate contest “Best Russian NPP”. Balakovo NPP took the second prize and Kola NPP took the third one.

Smolensk NPP: young atomists have conducted “Intellectual Marathon” among the plant workers
On May 13, 2011, “Intellectual Marathon”, organized by the enterprise atomists, took place in Smolensk NPP rehabilitation and recreation centre. The event with the participation of over 60 people was held in two stages: selection tour and final games.

Over 6 tones of hatchlings has been issued to Novovoronezh NPP cooling pond
6.4 tones of silver carp fries weighing 150 - 200 grams were issued to the fifth power unit cooling pond by Novovoronezh atomists, and one more tone – to the Don River.

Rostov NPP has become the ecological contest laureate
Rostov NPP has become the laureate of all Russian contest “100 of Best Russian Organizations. Ecology and Ecologic Management”. Plant Director Alexander Palamarchuk was awarded the honorable title of “Ecologist of the Year”.
