On May 18t 2011 there was held a regional youth fair of vacancies and educational workplaces “Make your choice” in the Rostov NPP information centre. The organizer of the action was State Enterprise “Employment center for the population of Volgodonsk” under the support of the Rostov NPP.

More than twenty enterprises within industrial and building complex and the companies of trade and consumer market have presented 560 vacancies with the wages from 5000 to 29 900 rubles to the graduation students.

The future young experts had an opportunity to communicate directly to the employers, had a chance to be registered in the city employment centre and receive consultation of the psychologist concerning vocational guidance. The experts of the Public Information Centre organized an excursion for all comers dwelling about atomic engineering and the Rostov NPP.

Rostov NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The nuclear power plant is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir 13.5 km far from Volgodonsk city. The nuclear plant has two operating power units of VVER-1000-type reactors with installed capacity of 1000 MW. Power unit No. 1 was put into commercial operation in 2001, power unit No 2 - in December, 2010.
