On May 18, 2011 a scheduled head-quarter training under the command of Leningrad NPP Director Vladimir Pereguda will be held.

The training purpose is to develop and perfect the actions of LNPP senior personnel and structural subdivisions in case of transfer to the war operation mode. 

The members of the committee on the emergency situations prevention and liquidation and the provision of fire safety, members of the site-evacuation committee, saving services, non-nominal emergency formations, the employees of the department on mobilization training and civil defense, and the personnel of LNPP subdivisions will take part in the head-quarter training. Upon the whole, about 400 people and 11 units of machinery will be involved into the head-quarter training.

The head-quarter training will be held in two stages.

During the first stage LNPP transferring to work at wartime will be developed. The regulatory bodies and non-standard emergency formations will be armed, and the events on the plant transferring to work at wartime and its steady functioning will be organized.

Besides, the skills on organization of plant personnel sheltering in the protective structures on the signal ТAir raidУ, and also on plant employees evacuation from the enterprise industrial site will be developed and perfected in practice. The actions on evacuation of the workers and their family members from Sosnovy Bor territory to the countryside zone will be developed on the basis of ТEnergetikУ sports complex.

The second stage includes a check of the practical actions of the plant non-nominal emergency formations together with the Search and Rescue Service professionals from Vyborg city of Leningrad region on the conduction of emergency and other urgent works in the conditions of an accident connected with oil spills, interior fire, constructionsХ breakdown and the presence of injured people as well as the skills of rendering the first aid to the injured.

Upon completion of the head-quarter training, the events on further perfection of the actions in case of an emergency demanding the transferring to work at wartime will be scheduled according to its results.

During the training Leningrad NPP will be operating in nominal mode.
