The Novovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant performed an annual task on electric power development ahead of the schedule

The Novovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant performed an annual task on electric power development ahead of the schedule, having developed 13,48 billion kWh on December 19 at 1 hour 07 minutes.

According to the chief engineer Anatoly Fedorov, it is the most maximum plan, which the station implemented as a part of three operating blocks, since 1991. «It is merit of all collective», - he noted.

And on December 20, on the eve of the Day of an energy worker, the unusual meeting devoted to a double holiday – to early accomplishment of the plan for development and celebration of New year - took place before an office building of the nuclear power plant.

Opening meeting, the director of the Novovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant Vladimir Povarov told: «For us the 2013th became successful in many respects. First, during the year the lowest indicators on number of violations are fixed at the station. Secondly, this early plan for electric power development. It gives the grounds to congratulate collective on such positive results and to motivate further achievements by additional awards. And, thirdly, one more victory - NV nuclear power plant became the first in an annual tender among nuclear power plants of Russia on culture of safety. For us it is a serious moral and mobilizing incentive. We can apply for victory in the tender «The Best Nuclear Power Plants of 2013».

The chief engineer of the nuclear power plant Anatoly Fedorov, the chairman of trade-union committee Yury Babenko also made speech at the festive event.

In completion of the meeting festive New Year's representation took place.

The power units No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 of the Novovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant are working in the set mode at the moment.

The radiation background at the station and the adjacent territory is at level, which doesn't exceed natural background values, characteristic for the Central European part of Russia.
