STATEMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE BRANCH OF "ROSENERGOATOM" CONCERN "NOVOVORONEZH NUCLEAR POWER PLANT" ON THE PLANT’S SAFETY POLICY
Being responsible for the safety of Novovoronezh NPP, the management of the plant
HEREBY STATES:
Safety is the top priority of our work and is superior to electricity production and sale.
Our safety policy is based on the following principles:
- full compliance with the requirements of the laws, rules and standards of the Russian Federation;
- high qualification of the personnel;
- cultivation of safety culture among the personnel;
- high responsibility of the management and personnel of the plant irrespective of the independence of designers, producers and suppliers of equipment, constructors and other nuclear safety authorities.
- The management of Novovoronezh NPP will do its best:
- to ensure high safety of the plant till its decommissioning;
- to create an atmosphere of openness, trust and cooperation.
The management of Novovoronezh NPP guarantees that the personnel of the plant and the partner-companies and organizations are ready to take all necessary measures to put into practice the above principles and to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant for the benefit of the Russian Federation.
The management of Novovoronezh NPP guarantees that they will support any initiatives of the personnel of the plant and the partner-companies and organizations aimed at enhancing the safety of the plant. Safety of Novovoronezh NPP is the duty of each of us.
