The Novovoronezh NPP investigated employee engagement


 TheNovovoronezh NPP study was conducted to discover employee engagement - it isone of the important areas to which the State Corporation "Rosatom"has been paying special attention for several years. Similarly, the studycovered more than 50 companies in the industry .

 

Inthe first part of the monitoring the Novovoronezh NPP survey was conducted,where the opinion expressed more than 800 employees. Further special classeswith 3 "focus - groups" were conducted, which included leadingmanagers, professionals and workers.

 

"Groupshave been active, friendly and willing to dialogue - told consultant of thecorporate academy "Rosatom " Irina Kazartseva. - Employees freelyexpressed their opinions and suggestions".

 

Theaim of such studies is to gather qualitative information on the state of theinternal climate in the enterprise and identify events affecting involvement.With its evaluation more than 20 factors are examined.

 

Accordingto the results of the studies report will be drawn up to be sent to the StateCorporation "Rosatom". Based on it a set of necessary measures willbe prepared.

 

Lastyear, a similar report from the Novovoronezh NPP was called positive.

 

TheNovovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "ConcernRosenergoatom". The station is located on the bank of the Don River in 42km to the south of Voronezh. It is the Russia's first nuclear power plant withVVER reactors (water-to-water power reactors of case type with regular waterunder pressure). Each of five reactors of station is head – a prototype ofserial power reactors: the power unit No. 1 with the VVER-210 reactor, thepower unit No. 2 with the VVER-365 reactor, No. No. 3, 4 power units withVVER-440 reactors, the power unit No. 5 with the VVER-1000 reactor. The firstpower unit was launched in 1964, the second – in the 1969, third – in the 1971,fourth – the 1972, fifth – 1979.

 

Thereare three power units (power units (No No 1, 2 we're stopped in 1984 and 1990years respectively) on work at the moment.

 

Theradiation background around an arrangement of nuclear station and the adjacentterritory is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, anddoesn't exceed natural background values, typical for the Central European partof Russia.
