The Championship of Novovoronezh NPP devoted to the 40th anniversary of the third power unit commissioning was finished by the final football match between the teams of RTC-2 (reactor and turbine department No. 2) and power unit No. 5 turbine department. 

For two months the competition has been held in the stadium, gym and sports sites in volleyball, football, darts, tennis, field-and-track racing, and streetball. Practically all the plant subdivisions took part in them.

Though according to the championship regulations the winner should not have been defined, the first prize was taken by the team of reactor and turbine department No. 2 (the Department Head is Valentine Brizitsky) according to the total sum of the prizes in separate types of both team and individual competitions in non-official competition.

The second result belonged to their constant rivals – the team of power unit No. 5 turbine department (the Department Head is Vasily Didenko). The sportsmen of the fifth power unit reactor compartment, departments of heat automation and measures, electric, chemical departments, department of personnel and metrology, guard service also gathered many rewards.

However, none of the participants was left without any award: management of Novovoronezh NPP appropriated more than 300 thousand rubles to the championship prize fund.
