Novovoronezh NPP: an Open Day has been held in Novovoronezh Polytechnic College
On April 2, 2011 an Open Day was held in Novovoronezh Polytechnic College – a branch of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution – National Research Nuclear University of MEPhI.
College Principal Anatoly Neplyuev made a speech for future school leavers. He told them in detail about entrance conditions, forms of education, specialties, teaching staff and interior life of the educational institution.
In his turn, college graduate - specialist of the NPP Public Information Centre Yury Molokov told the pupils about a friendly team of nuclear scientists. “We create energy and this energy charges us,” - he said, wishing pupils a success during entrance exams and development in their future profession.
The future students also visited the Information Technology Centre of the College, library, classrooms, laboratories and lecture halls; they got acquainted with the teaching staff and students of the college.
For more than 50 years Novovoronezh Polytechnic College has been a source of specialists for nuclear power plants of the country. During all these years Novovoronezh NPP has been the social partner of the college. Nuclear scientists help to implement various programs and projects and jointly develop youth policy, engaging both NNPP young workers and students into these projects. Every year NNPP Trade Union Committee awards best college students with scholarships. In addition, it pays a monthly aid to college students, left without parental care.
