Kola NPP: balance of the work in April 2011
In April 2011, Kola NPP generated 798,8 million kWh of electric power. Since the beginning of the year it has generated 4047,4 million kWh, which is 143million kWh more than in the same period in 2010.

Beloyarsk NPP: the monthly plan has been fulfilled by 104%
On April 13, 2011 Beloyarsk NPP BN-600 power unit suspended electric power generation in connection with the scheduled activities: fuel reload and the equipment inspection and modernization. The works are supposed to be carried put up to the middle of June.

Kalinin NPP: the April plan for electric power generation has been fulfilled by 103.4%
In April of the current year Kalinin NPP power units (Tver region) generated 2.229 bln kWh of electric power (103.4% of the target figure). 2.136 bln kWh of electric power (104.6%) were supplied to the energy system. The utilization factor of maximum capacity in April amounted to 103.24 % (the planned value being 99.81%).

Rostov NPP: the plan for April has been overfulfilled
Rostov NPP fulfilled the April plan for power generating by 105.9%. With the planned value being equal to 914 mln kWh, actually, the two power units generated 967.7 mln kWh.

Smolensk NPP: post overhaul trials are being held at power unit No. 1
In April, Smolensk NPP generated 938 mln kWh of electric power. Since the year beginning, the total production was equal to 5 bln 441 mln kWh of electric power.

Kalinin NPP: The winners of XI Championship have been awarded
The winners of Kalinin NPP of XI Championship among workers and contracting organizations have been awarded. The solemn ceremony of the sports contests closing was held on April 29 in Public Information Centre of Kalinin NPP.

Rostov NPP: a Cup of Russia on Fishing has been held at the nuclear plant cooling pond
Starting with April 29 to May 1 a Cup of Russia on Fishing with a float rod was held at Rostov NPP nuclear plant cooling pond. About 70 sportsmen – masters of sports of international ranks, World and Europe Champions took part in the competition.

Balakovo NPP: the April plan for electric power generation has been fulfilled by 103.7%
Balakovo NPP fulfilled the April plan by 103.7%. In April, the nuclear plant generated 3,015,227.088 thousand kWh of electric power. The utilization factor of maximum capacity amounted to 104.7 %

Technical engineers of the Southwestern State University visited Kursk NPP with a public inspection
Kursk nuclear plant public inspections were continued by the visit to the Kursk NPP of a group of students, postgraduates and employees of the Center for Collective Use “Scientific Technologies” of the Southwestern State University (SSU) on April 29, 2011. The inspection participants noted a high level of reliability and safety of Kursk NPP power units.

Kursk NPP: ecological voluntary area cleaning has been held
An ecological voluntary cleaning of the cooling pond coastland was held at Kursk NPP within the framework of the Day of Protection Against Environmental Hazards on April 29, 2011. More than 200 employees of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC branch Kursk nuclear plant – representatives of the enterprise structural subdivisions - participated in the event.
