Rigging of large equipment - feeding deaerator and cooler of organized leaks - was performed in an auxiliary building 10UKA of the power unit №1 at the Leningrad NPP-2

This operation was carried out in two stages. First step: cooler was set on a regular place in design position at mark 0,000 through opening in the roof of the building with the help of a tower crane «Potain».

The equipment is a vertical vessel length 5.37 m. and weighing 1.13 tons for cooling and drainage of leaks originating from the collector of the reactor building of technology systems.

Then, rigging of feeding and boron control deaerator of the first circuit was executed through the building opening at the 8.400. Dimensions of the equipment are impressive: height - 7.87 m. and weight - 16.8 tons.

Feeding and boron control deaerator of the primary circuit is equipment designed for degassing the coolant output from the first circuit.

Lifting and installation of large-sized heat exchange equipment was performed by specialists of "MSU-90" and OAO "UAT". After completion of the concrete slab roof installers will be able to to trim both pieces of equipment with technological pipelines.

"Construction of the Leningrad NPP-2 is part of activities long-term program of the State Corporation "Rosatom". Customer-developer of the project is the JSC "Concern".

The general contractor of the project is the JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2".

General Designer is the JSC "ATOMPROEKT."

The Rostekhnadzor issued a license (number GN-02-101-2277) for construction of a nuclear power unit №1 of the Leningrad NPP-2 (valid - till 03.31.2018) and a license (number GN-02-101-2276) for construction of a nuclear power unit №2 of the Leningrad NPP-2 (valid - till 07.14.2019) on February 12, 2010.
