In the territory of the Kurskaya nuclear station on October 1, 2013 will pass planned fire and tactical doctrines.

Forces and means of garrison of fire protection of Kursk region will be attracted to doctrines.

During doctrines acceptances of fire-proof reaction will be fulfilled.

Carrying out doctrines assumes movement of fire equipment with the switched-on special light and sound alarm system on the automobile route in the direction Kursk Kurchatov, Lgov - Kurchatov.

Power units of the Kurskaya nuclear power plant during doctrines will work in a regular mode. No interventions in their work, connected with doctrines, are provided and won't be carried out.

The administration of the Kurskaya nuclear power plant addresses to inhabitants of area with a request to stay calm and understand the situation.

Carrying out doctrines is an integral part of ensuring safe operation of any nuclear station. Doctrines of this sort annually pass at nuclear stations of the Russian Federation. Their purpose is working off actions on protection of the personnel of nuclear station and the population.

Of September 27, there are power units № 1 and № 3 in work at the moment. They are working at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. Power units № 2 and № 4 are in planned overhaul.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
