Personnel, population and environment protection and rational use of natural resources are the key priorities of Kursk NPP.

The plant seeks to not only produce electricity but also to make the production safe for the environment and to prevent any possibilities of accident.

Kursk NPP has an ecological service consisting of three laboratories:

external radiation control laboratory;
ecological safety laboratory;
automated radiation control system.

The laboratories are certified and use only licensed analytical equipment and solutions.
