In August, 2013 power units of the Kurskaya nuclear power plant developed 1 billion 254,2 million kWh of the electric power. To consumers was released 1 billion 140,9 million kWh of the electric power.

In total from the moment of start-up in 1976 of the Kurskaya nuclear power plant over 765 billion 386 million kWh of the electric power has been developed.

There are power units No. 1 and No. 3 on the Kursk nuclear power plant in work at the moment. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. On power units No. No. 2 and 4 planned repairs are being carried out.

The radiation background on the Kurskaya nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
