Single discussions with the public in shape of «round table» on the materials of reasons for licenses (MRL) on placement of power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the Kursk NPP-2 according to the resolution of the city administration of Kurchatov Kursk region and administration of Kurchatovsky district of Kursk region will take place on December 24, 2013 in Kurchatov (Kursk region).

The «Round table» is a new stage in preparation of allowing documentation on placement of the power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the replacement station of Kursk NPP-2.

The bodies responsible for the organization of the single discussions on placement of the power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the Kursk NPP-2 are the administration of municipality «City Kurchatov» and administration of the Kurchatovsky municipal district of Kursk region (with assistance of JSC «Rosenergoatom» Concern).

Materials of reasons for licenses for implementation of activities of JSC «Rosenergoatom» Concern on placement of the power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the Kursk NPP-2 are available to acquaintance since November 28, 2013 to the following addresses:

1) Kursk region, Kurchatov, Kommunistichesky Ave., house 12, administration of the Kurchatovsky municipal district of Kursk region (administration reception);
2) Kursk region, Kurchatov, Kommunistichesky Ave., house 33, administration of Kurchatov, incorporated bank. No. 9;
3) Kursk region, Kurchatov, Leningradskaya St., house 35, Center of public information of the Kursk nuclear power plant (library);
4) Kursk region, Kurchatovsky district, item of Ivanino, Antipov Square, house 6, MKUK «District Center of Culture and Leisure»;
5) on the Internet on sites 12.rkursk.ru and www.kurchatov.info.

Date of carrying out public hearings is on December 24, at 17 o'clock. Venue - city Palace of culture of Kurchatov to the address: Kurchatov, Kommunistichesky Avenue, 35.

Access on hearings is free of charge.

There are power units No. 1 and No. 3 in work at the moment. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. On power units No. No. 2 and 4 planned repairs are carried out.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
