On July 10, 2014 the power unit №3 of the Kursk NPP was displayed into the planned medium-term repairs.

On the power unit is scheduled to perform maintenance work on repair, diagnostics and modernization of systems and equipment.

Disabling of the power unit was produced in accordance with the requirements of technological regulations and instructions.

There are power units No. 1, 2  and 4 in work at the moment. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
