On February 27, 2014 at 22:22 the power unit number 2 of the Kursk NPP was included in the grid after the planned average repair and restoration work on the resource characteristics of the reactor facility (SEC EDM).

At the power unit was executed a typical average volume of repair. The parameters of technological channels and channel control and protection system, full control telescopic connection paths were measured. 

Recovery program of resource characteristics of the reactor facility included a large amount of special work-based leading research and design institutions in Russia and experience SEC RU of the power unit № 1 of the Leningrad NPP.

The possibility of further operation of the nuclear power plant after the SEC RU was confirmed by the verification RTN.

Inclusion of the power unit was carried out in accordance with the requirements of technological regulations and instructions.

There are power units No. No. 3 and 4 in work as of October 22 of this year on the Kursk nuclear power plant. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. On power units No. 1 and 2 planned repairs are being carried out.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
