Roundtable discussions with the public on materials of justifying license to operate in the field of the atomic energy the «Construction of the radiation source and the management of radioactive waste during storage, processing and transportation for the object «Kursk NPP. Complex processing of radioactive waste» on March 12, 2014 in Kurchatov (Kursk region).

Round table is a new stage in the preparation of permits for the construction of the Complex of processing of radioactive waste (RW KP) in Kursk.

Substantiation of licenses are available for public inspection from 6 February 2014 to 12 March 2014 at the following addresses:

1) Kursk region, Kurchatov, Communist Street, 33, Administration of Kurchatov, office № 9;

2) Kursk region, Kurchatov, Leningradskaya Street, 35, library premises of the Public Information Center of the Kursk NPP.

In accordance with the administration of Kurchatov city of Kursk region public roundtable discussion was held on 12 March 2014 at 17.00 hours, in Kursk region, Kurchatov, Communist Street, 35.

There are power units No. No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 in work on the Kursk nuclear power plant. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
