On the Kurskaa nuclear power plant took place on August 7-9, 2013 exit meeting of employees of financial and economic services of JSC «Rosenergoatom Concern» and its divisions.

Heads and specialists of «Rosatom» State corporation, JSC «Rosenergoatom Concern», concern branches took part in meeting - nuclear stations, Design and Technological branches, managements of the Baltic, Bashkir, Kostroma nuclear power plant, the Leningradskaya, Novovoronezhskaya and Kurskaya NPP-2, the Voronezhskaya nuclear station of a heat supply, management of floating nuclear thermal power plants under construction. In meeting also participated representatives of the third-party partner organizations.

Opening meeting, the deputy director general of JSC «Rosenergoatom Concern» - the director of the Kurskaya nuclear power plant Vyacheslav Fedyukin noted the importance of the effective management of financial flows for success in development of each nuclear station and nuclear power as a whole. He welcomed aspiration of employees of the provided services to profound judgment of the most important indicators applied in modern financial management.

Under the leadership of the director of Treasury of JSC «Rosenergoatom Concern» Dmitry Sheptyakov at meeting were considered the cash flow budget (CFB) performance report for the I half-year and the forecast of BDDS for the II half-year 2013. Questions of working capital management and execution of key performance indicators of branches of Concern were considered also following the results of the I half-year 2013.

«In the conditions of a large investing program and specifics of work of the wholesale market it is very important to provide all stations with necessary quantity of resources, fulfilling thus requirements for financing of construction objects. All plans which we put on the first half of the year, are executed, - Dmitry Sheptyakov commented on work of financial services of concern. – We also precisely represent what we will reach in the end of the year».

«The meeting purpose is to increase the management efficiency by finance on each branch and as a whole on concern, - was continued by the director of Treasury. - Also experience of exchange of colleagues with each other, communication and establishment of working contacts at horizontal level is very useful. The meeting was combined with carrying out a training seminar on which tendencies and instruments of modern financial management were studied. Its studying allows to be in a trend of world achievements and to be competitive».

Within the training part of the action participants of meeting examined modern models of financial management and ways of their use for enhancement of management of the nuclear power plant. In particular, it was a question about use of an indicator of EVA (economic value added) for a work efficiency evaluation. For the purpose of updating of the received knowledge were held business games.

Participants of meeting inspected a platform of construction of station of replacement of Kurskaya NPP-2 where were acquainted with characteristics of the latest power unit VVER-TOI planned to a construction in Kursk region, and also with preparation for the construction beginning.

Power units No. No. 1, 3 of the Kurskaya nuclear power plant are in work now. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. No. No. 2, 4 power units are in the planned repair.

The radiation background on the Kurskaya nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
