On July 21, 2013, in accordance with the confirmed order, the power unit No. 3 will be output to the planned repairs lasting about 20 days.

Regular procedural inspections will be made and the standard set of running repairs of the equipment will be executed  on the power unit..

Power units No. 1, 3, 4 of the Kursk nuclear power plant ate in work at the moment. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. The power unit No. 2 is in planned repair.

The  radiation background on the Kursk nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
