Kursk NPP workers participated in Kurchatov championship on ski race. The competition was held on the embankment of the city of atomists on February 6. Nikolay Sorokin, Kursk NPP Director, greeted the sportsmen and wished them good luck on the truck.

According to the results of the competition, Nikolay Novikov (reactor compartment No.2) became the winner at a 2-kilometre distance among the men of the age group from 18 to 39 years old. Sergey Myasnyankin, a representative of the thermal automation department, became the winner in the age group from 40 to 49 years old. Among women of basic age, Irina Volobueva (Atomenergoremont) took the first prize. Tatyana Zakirova, the combine of sports facilities worker, was celebrating victory at a one-kilometer distance among the women over 50.
