Kursk NPP: on April 1, power unit № 1 will be under routine repair
On April 1, 2011 power unit № 1of the Kursk NPP will be stopped for routine repair.
During repair there will be usual routine maintenance checks and standard repair of the unit equipment.
As of March 31, power units Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Kursk NPP are in operation. Their capacity corresponds to the dispatch schedule.
The radiation background at Kursk NPP and in the adjacent territory corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
