On April 22, 2011 a seminar of public labor protection agents was held at Kursk NPP.

This traditional event has been held for several years already. It was opened by Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Kursk NPP Gennady Polkhov. “I should stress the primary concern and necessity of the work, implemented by you,” he addressed the seminar participants.

“We all know that authorities of Kursk NPP give an absolute priority to safety and health maintenance of its personnel and that yields favorable results. And an enormous credit in this field belongs to you - public labor protection agents of plant subdivisions.”

Gennady Polkhov also awarded best agent of Kursk NPP in 2010 Lyubov Demina with a certificate and testimonial.

Head of Labor Protection Department Yuri Zakharov, Deputy Chief Inspector Nikolay Dus, Technical Inspector of Trade Union Valery Shulyak and others read reports on the work, implemented in 2010 and the 1st quarter of 2011.

The information about the work of the Labor Protection Department in the previous year and work of public labor protection agents as well as the results of the electrical safety month campaign were presented to the seminar participants.
