The Bilibino NPP holds summer planned overhaul of equipment and pipelines of the main heating systems from July 1 to July 14, 2015. The rehabilitation of equipment life conducted according to schedule of repair works at the Bilibino NPP and in accordance with the list of repairs at the heating systems.

These documents provide works on preparation of equipment and systems, which has increased safety requirements. Diagnostics and repair of defective welds of the heating system pipelines will be held during the current period.

The Bilibino NPP has minimized the time of repair of the heating systems in the last decade in order to meet the requirements of the Russian Federation legislation to reduce the period of lack of hot water in the city. However, supply of hot water to homes and enterprises in the city depends not only on the Bilibino NPP, but also on the Municipal enterprise of housing and communal services in the Bilibino municipal district, which also carries out repair of the equipment at this time, which results will mean return of familiar comfortable conditions of living.

There are operating power units №1, 3, 4 of the nuclear power plant at the moment. The power unit №2 is in a planned overhaul. Dispatch task is being done.

The radiation background corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed natural background values at the plant and adjacent territory.
