Planned average repair of the power unit № 2 was ended at the Bilibino NPP ahead of schedule on three days. It was plugged in August 7, 2015, at 20:45.

During the repair work, which started on 1 May this year, TA and SAR, chemical control systems and emergency water supply, turbines and steam pipes, electrical equipment, transformers and breakers, generator were repaired.

The repair of the Bilibino NPP power unit №2 involved more than 40 employees of the "Atomenergoremont".

There are four nuclear power units in work at the moment. Dispatchers’ task is being done.

The planned average repair of power unit №1 will begin on August 14, 2015.

The radiation background corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed natural background values at the plant and adjacent territory.
