Fund-raising was organized at the Bilibino NPP beyond the All-Russian charity event "Day of Knowledge in New Russia", initiated by the Association for Children's Rights Commissioners and called on the eve of the new school year, to raise funds for students of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republic.

During the campaign staff of the Bilibino NPP has raised over half a million rubles. The collected funds will be transferred to the account of the Association of Commissioners. Nuclear workers never remained indifferent to compatriots in distress, especially when the situation affects children.

There are operating power units №1, 3, 4 of the nuclear power plant at the moment. The power unit №2 is in a planned overhaul. Dispatch task is being done.

The radiation background corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed natural background values at the plant and adjacent territory.
