Bilibino NPP: power unit No.2 was put into the “cold reserve”

On January 24, at 12:48 a.m. power unit No. 2 of Bilibino NPP was put into the “cold reserve” in accordance with the dispatch limits.

At present the NPP operates 3 power units.

The radiation background at Bilibino NPP and in the adjacent territory corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
