Bilibino NPP: on June 17, power unit No. 4 will be put into major scheduled preventive repair
On June 17, power unit No. 4 of Bilibino NPP will be transferred from “cold reserve” into major scheduled preventive repair.
The repair is to be accomplished within 80 days. Its program includes performing of the scheduled works, provided by the annual schedule and the bulletins of the repair extent.
As of June 16, Bilibino NPP operates power units Nos. 1 and 3. The works are performed according to the dispatch schedule.
Due to the dispatch limits power units Nos. 2 and 4 are in “cold reserve”.
The radiation background at Bilibino NPP and in the adjacent territory corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
