On May 17 at 03.08 am by the local time, the turbine generator of Unit 2 was restarted after the shutdown to cold reserve.

The unit was in the cold reserve on account of the dispatch limiting due to lack of electricity consumption in Chaun-Bilibino power centre.

Currently, the plant operates three power units.

The radiation background in the area of the plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power units’ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
