On June 20 special tactical exercises of civil defense and emergencies will be held on the territory of the oil-heating Complex (CBS-4)of the Beloyarsk NPP power unit №4.

The exercises will be practiced with interaction of specialized services on prevention and liquidation of emergency conditional associated with conventional oil spill. The departure of the guard on duty of the 35th firehouse in the heating complex (CBS-4) of the power unit №4 is scheduled.

There is a request to the public in case of noticing movement of fire and special in the area of the powe 4th power unit of the Beloyarsk NPP not to worry and not to interrupt their studies: there are planed special tactical exercises of civil defense and emergencies.

Teachings are organized be the emergency department of the Beloyarsk NPP and operational stuff of the support systems department of the Beloyarsk  NPP, duty shift of the Sverdlovsk branch of the Rescue and environmental operations Center, the duty guard of 35th firehouse departmental security guard "Atom-protection" take part in them.

The Beloyarsk nuclear power plant is entered into work in April, 1964. It is the first nuclear power plant in big nuclear power of the country, and unique with reactors of different types on one platform. The first power units of the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant with reactors on thermal neutrons of AMB-100 and AMB-200 are stopped in connection with resource development. In operation there is the unique power unit in the world with the reactor on fast neutrons of an industrial power level of BN-600. In the stage of construction there is a power unit with the reactor on fast neutrons of BN-800. Power units on fast neutrons are urged to expand significantly fuel base of nuclear power and to minimize radioactive waste at the expense of the organization of the closed nuclear and fuel cycle.
