On March 28 - 30 the Olympic games of the nuclear power plants in mathematics and physics passed in Zarecniy. In total in competition took part 38 students of eleventh grades. Final assessment will be announced in late April.

The Olympics were held by the branch of the National Research Nuclear University MIPhI funded by the JSC «Concern Rosenergoatom».

The Beloyarsk NPP is interested in talented applicants to choose «atomic» specialty, receive an excellent education and returne to there hometown Zarechniy to work on urban development of the enterprise - nuclear power plant.

Therefore, winners of the nuclear power plants Olympics will receive target places from the Beloyarsk NPP for admission to the low places of specialized universities. In addition, the administration of the Beloyarsk NPP and future entrants will conclude an agreement on the preparation of special contract, and after successful completion of higher education graduate can find a job at the nuclear power plant.

The Beloyarsk nuclear power plant is entered into work in April, 1964. It is the first nuclear power plant in big nuclear power of the country, and unique with reactors of different types on one platform. The first power units of the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant with reactors on thermal neutrons of AMB-100 and AMB-200 are stopped in connection with resource development. In operation there is the unique power unit in the world with the reactor on fast neutrons of an industrial power level of BN-600. In the stage of construction there is a power unit with the reactor on fast neutrons of BN-800. Power units on fast neutrons are urged to expand significantly fuel base of nuclear power and to minimize radioactive waste at the expense of the organization of the closed nuclear and fuel cycle.
