On the eve of Victory Day Beloyarsk NPP, already traditionally, took part in the all Russian teleconference bridge of Rosenergoatom Concern, devoted to the 66th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The War veterans and workers of rear, the Concern and the nuclear plants heads, representatives of atomists’ trade union and youth organization had been communicating in the mode of videoconference for an hour and a half.

The teleconference bridge was held in the form of the report of the nuclear plants about the support of the Great Patriotic War veterans, organization of research work, accomplishment and redevelopment of the monuments and memorials to dead warriors, the NPPs’ contribution to the military and patriotic upbringing of schoolchildren.

Beloyarsk NPP concentrated all its efforts on rendering help to veterans and on patriotic upbringing of the young. In Zarechny city (Sverdlovsk region) military and patriotic children’s and youth club “Desantnik”, attended by 250 boys and girls, is working.

They undergo a young fighter training since childhood – learn close fight and sky-jumping. The pupils of the club “Desantnik” are obligatory participants of the city events, devoted to the Great Patriotic War and to the Nation defense. They serve as an example for other teenagers of Zarechny, being a model of healthy life-style, sports achievements and moral courage. And the main thing is that they receive and adopt the best patriotic traditions founded by our veterans.

Now the veterans of the Great Patriotic War who worked at Beloyarsk NPP are only 7. Two of them – Anatoly Y. Goldberg and Zoya P. Maximova - participated in the conference bridge. Anatoly Yakovlevich shared the reminiscences and thoughts about the severe war years with the conference bridge participants.

The BNPP Director Michail Bakanov congratulated everyone with the bright holiday of the Great Victory, wished the veterans of the Great Patriotic War strong health and long years of life, vivacity and optimism, love and care of close people and boardless respect on the part of the public.
