The Open Day for pupils of the ninth classes passed on December 11 in information center of the Balakovo nuclear power plant. Specialists of nuclear power plant told seniors about relevance and prospects of nuclear power, profile education for work on the Balakovo nuclear power plant, the professions demanded at the entity and many other. Besides, children visited excursion in the educational and training center of the nuclear power plant. Much interesting about nuclear power and its history school students learned from representatives of the veteran organization of the Balakovo nuclear power plant, who a lot of years worked on the nuclear power plant. Representatives of the Balakovo institute of equipment, technology and management, Volga region college of technologies and management, the Balakovo polytechnical technical school participated in the meeting with future graduates. They acquainted ninth-graders with opportunity and training conditions in these educational institutions on profile specialties. The head of the Saratov regional public organization «Light of Art» Svetlana Solovyova invited children to the cultural and exhibition center «Raduga» to an exhibition of the exclusive photoworks «Volga. From the source to the estuary». This unique project is implemented in Balakov, thanks to Fund of assistance to development of municipalities «Association of the Territories of Nuclear Power Plants Arrangement» (ATR Nuclear Power Plant Fund). For the first time within the similar meeting the teleconference with the Saratov information center on nuclear energy, where students of the Saratov state technical university gathered, took place. They asked questions to representatives of the nuclear power plant about professional prospects on the Balakovo nuclear power plant and received detailed answers too.

Rewarding with souvenirs with symbolics of the Balakovo nuclear power plant of the quiz winners held during action about the nuclear power plant became one more pleasant moment for guests of information center.
