On the Balakovo nuclear power plant  another one certification of the quality management system (QMS) and inspection check-up of the certified quality management system of JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" branch - "The Balakovo nuclear station" came to the end.

They were carried out for the purpose of conformity assessment of station operating SMK to requirements directly three state standard specifications P ISO standards 9001:2011, NP-011-99 and GS-R-3 (MAGATE), and also confirmation to requirements of SMK of JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" branch – "The Balakovo nuclear station".

The structure of the commission included representatives of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Atomsertifika" certification body. Within four days – from September 16 to September 19 – experienced experts-auditors worked in station divisions: analyzed documentation on workplaces, interviewed the personnel and heads.

"The Balakovo nuclear power plant in an initiative order is one of the first certified quality management system. And today it takes a leading line item among other branches of "Rosenergoatom concern" on quality management implementation concerning the core business – electric power development by right, – commission chairman Yury Samoshkin noted. – Performed check-up only confirmed leadership behind the Balakovo nuclear power plant. Certainly, during audit we marked out also some discrepancies, but they are insignificant. And it is normal as if the quality management system had no shortcomings, it wouldn't work. After all one of the main principles of SMK – fixed improvement, enhancement. On the Balakovo nuclear power plant it is understood, and the quality management system is being developed not only as for the whole station, but also in each separate division".

Following the results of the check-up statements on repeated certification of SMK of the Balakovo nuclear power plant and on inspection check-up of JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" branch – "The Balakovo nuclear station" were drawn up.

Recommendations of the commission about further improvement of station SMK and recommendation to certification body about issue of the next certification of conformity SMK to the international and Russian standards for a period of three years are reflected in them.
