On March 5, 2012 prior to the spring holiday, the 8th of March, there was held a “Two Stars” pop & creation work competition in the district cultural centre of Balakovo, which is traditionally organized by the trade committee of the Balakovskaya NPP.

Employees of the Atomic Plant, who were accompanied by the professional artists on the stage – the city vocalists and dancers, took part in the competition. Each one had a task to show his own talent and to assure the strict jury that he may be called a star.

The nuclear experts’ couples in the creation work duos in “Choreography” were soloists of the “Maximum” dance show from the “Antares” cultural centre, the nomination “Vocal” was performed by the famous in the city singers Yekaterina Vlasova, Artem Anoshin, Ruslan Ikromov and Elena Shishkina. Each of the performance became bright and entertaining. All the spectators were drawn into the atmosphere of a fairy-tale, love, fantasy and even horror under the performance of Dracula. A woman being the main theme was revealed in every event of the holiday. Tender and forceful, insolent and nice, decisive and defenseless- that woman, who certainly decorates the life of a man.

“Dear women, I hope this creative firework has become for you a pleasant present for the female holiday, - said Peter Sorokin, chairman of the trade committee of the Balakovskaya NPP, appealing from the stage to the beautiful half of the mankind. – Women are wonderful employees and educated specialists. Today we saw how they sing and dance wonderfully. I wish to congratulate beautiful ladies with the spring holiday. I wish you all to be happy, healthy and successful!”

 There were mentioned names of the winners on the award ceremony. The jury members confessed that it was not easy to make a choice because each of the participants acted lively and talented, but the best in the nomination of “Vocal” was a couple of an engineer of the nuclear security department and reliability of the Balakovskaya NPP, Yegor Teplykh, and a professional singer, Ruslan Ikromov. In the “Choreography” nomination the best performance was shown by a specialist of the personnel department of the plant Olga Odintsova and the “Maximum” dance-show soloist Nikita Yashin.
