Balakovo NPP: power unit No. 3 has been put out of repair
Upon completion of routine repair power unit No. 3 of Balakovo NPP was connected to the grid on July 06, at 2:14 (Moscow time). The unit load was increased up to the nominal value at 10 o’clock and not it is equal to 1,020 MW.
Connection of the unit to the power grid and load increase were carried out without any deviations, in accordance with the process regulations for safe operation.
Power units Nos. 2, 3 and 4 are in operation, power unit No. 1 has been under scheduled preventive maintenance since 08.06.2011. The total NPP load is 3,090 MW.
