From March 18th to March 21st Balakovo NPP will host the second inspection audit of the ecological system management on the compliance of the plant to requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2004 and the Russian GOST R ISO 14001-2007 .

The experts of the audit will be the auditor of the international certification system BSI Rainer Hans Field (Germany) and the leading auditor of Russian certification body SOSET Sergey Fomin. The independent audit will be conducted in the presence of an auditor-trainee, the chief of ecological safety laboratory “VNIIAES” Marina Demyanenko.

For four days of work the auditors should study the documentation of the ecological system management of Balakovo’s workshops and departments, to hear the reports of their heads, to carry out personnel interviews and to visit a number of nuclear power plant objects.
