There was a smoke of a heat-insulating material on November 25 at 11.00 in case of work on recovery of a pipeline corridor roof site of the power unit No. 1 of the Kalininskaya nuclear station. Works were carried out by contract organization JSC “Universalnoye stroitelnoye obshchestvo”. Smoke was liquidated by JSC “USO” forces before arrival of fire protection. The fact of smoke didn't affect operation of the power units. Violations of limits and conditions of safe operation aren't present.

There are all four power units of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant in work. Their total loading constitutes 4193 MWt.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
