On October 31 from 00 h. 01 min. the power unit No. 4 of the Kalininskaya nuclear station will be stopped for carrying out short-term repair on defect elimination on the activator of the TG-4 generator and the equipment of the first contour according to the permitted request of JSC «Rosenergoatom» Concern.

As of 17.00 October 30 there are four power units of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant in work. Their total loading constitutes 4203 MWt.

The radiation background around an arrangement of the nuclear station and the adjacent territory is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
