On November 25-26 (SENM) the certified energy managemen system audit on compliance to requirements of the international standard ISO 50001:2011 successfully passed. The audit was executed by an independent certification body - the Russian department of the German society on certification of DQS GmbH management systems within the project on creation of power management system of JSC «Rosenergoatom Concern». Auditors noted high activity of division managers interaction of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant which has entered into borders of energy management system. All divisions convincingly showed the done work directed on achievement of the established purposes in area of energy saving and increase of an energy efficiency.

The conclusion about compliance of energy management system of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant to requirements of the international standard ISO 50001:2011 became a result of the booked audit. The decision on issue of the conformity certificate to branches of JSC «Rosenergoatom Concern» will be made by certifying body upon termination of similar audit on other nuclear power plants.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
