The Kalininskaya NPP in March 2014 fulfilled targets for production and supply of electricity.

So, in March the Kalininskaya NPP developed 2,348 billion kWh (106.8%). In grid released 2,225 billion kWh (107.4%). The capacity factor (load factor) in March was 78.90% (73.89% at the plan).

There are three power units of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant in work at the moment. The power unit №1 is in planned overhaul.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.

Current information about a radiation situation near the nuclear power plant in Russia and other objects of the nuclear industry is provided on a site www.russianatom.ru.
