The "Rosenergoatom" commission has started comprehensive security audit on March 24, 2015 at the Kalininskaya NPP.

"Testing is conducted in accordance with the approved schedule of inspections for 2015. It is due to the requirements of the federal regulations and the requirements of the operating organization documents. The audit will consist of several areas: the target management review of occupational safety, industrial safety and inspection as part of the control services of Concern technical management of"- said the chairman of the commission, the Head of the "Rosenergoatom" nuclear power plants safety inspections Mikhail Molchanov.

The commission includes representatives from the Concern, Balakovo NPP, Beloyarsk NPP, Kolskaya NPP, Kursk NPP, Leningrad NPP, Novovoronezh NPP, Rostov NPP, Leningrad NPP-2 and VNIIAES inspection services. Chief engineer, chief inspector, heads of departments station specialists services verify the participation on the Kalininskaya NPP part.

During the visit, areas such activities of the Kalininskaya NPP as management, organization and quality assurance; operation; maintenance and repair; engineering support; operating experience and resource management; fire protection; emergency management; radiation protection; personnel training and qualifications; compliance with the industrial safety requirements; functioning OSH management system; preparation of nuclear power plants to the passage of the flood will be tested. Also, the participants will discuss issues of cooperation on the licensing and permitting activities, the organization works to ensure nuclear safety and control, organization of work with the staff. The Commission will assess the condition of the equipment and buildings, the efficiency of security systems, labor safety management system (SMS) and its elements.

The commission's work will last until April 3 of this year.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
