The Kalininskaya NPP exceeded the planned target for electricity generation by 3.7 percent in August

In August, the Kalininskaya NPP power units generated 2.305 billion. KWh of electricity, or 103.7% of the FTS (Russia) planned target.

Month plan for electricity has also been exceeded - 2,173 billion KWh was released in the grid, or 103.8% of the planned target.

The capacity factor (load factor) was 77.46% (74.70% at the plan).

Since the beginning of the year the Kalininskaya NPP has generated 18.182 billion KWh (105.3%), 17,154 billion KWh (105.8%) was released into the grid.

There are three  power units in work at the moment at the Kalininskaya NPP. The Kalininskaya NPP power unit №4 is being repaired.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.   The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.  Current information about a radiation situation near the nuclear power plant in Russia and other objects of the nuclear industry is provided on a site www.russianatom.ru.
