Rosatom and FMBA will allocate 80 million rubles to improve the city polyclinic of Zarechny

The satellite town of the Beloyarsk NPP - Zarechny, Sverdlovsk Region, became a participant in the program to improve the quality and accessibility of medical care in nuclear cities.

The project's customers are Alexei Likhachev, director general of Rosatom State Corporation, and Veronika Skvortsova, head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency.

According to preliminary calculations, the polyclinic will receive about 80 million rubles, which will be used to repair buildings and modernize equipment.

The improvement program involves the creation of a modern polyclinic model based on the principles of accessibility, technology and openness, which will reduce the waiting time for a doctor's appointment, optimize the course of medical examinations, improve navigation in the building, and divide the flow of visitors.

“In 2021, the first five nuclear cities joined this project: Desnogorsk, Dimitrovgrad, Novouralsk, Sarov and Snezhinsk. According to the results of the survey, residents noticed positive changes already in the first year, for example, the level of satisfaction with medical care increased from 36% to 62%. In Zarechny, we are confident that we will be able to achieve no less worthy results,” said Vladimir Lazarev, deputy director for social projects and regional development of the Atom-Region Private Institution of Rosatom State Corporation.
