Energy workers from Belarus adopt the experience of digitalization of production processes from the Balakovo NPP
Representatives of the Belarusian NPP paid a working visit to the Balakovo NPP. They were interested in the experience of operating Russian power units, first of all, in new digital solutions in the sphere of maintenance and repair.
“We are the pioneers of nuclear energy in Belarus,” said Ruslan Shumarov, leading engineer of the resource management and modernization department of the Belarus NPP. – We don’t have such operating experience as the specialists of Rosenergoatom. The Balakovo NPP is one of the leading nuclear power plants in Russia not only in terms of production, but also in terms of safety culture, which is why we are here.”
The program of the visit of the Belarusian colleagues is extensive, but the main point is acquaintance with the software of the automated control system for maintenance and repair of equipment (ACS MRE) “Management of resource characteristics of power unit elements”. It should be noted that the Balakovo NPP is a pilot for the introduction of this digital platform into production.
Automation of production processes is one of the most important areas for the development of such a high-tech enterprise as a nuclear power plant. The guests got acquainted with the organization of the equipment resource management process at the Balakovo NPP, learned about the additional features implemented in the maintenance and repair automated control system, including the collection, storage and analysis of information about the state of the nuclear power plant equipment.
“One of the most important tasks that we face today at the Belarusian NPP is to automate production processes. We are eager not only to simplify the solution of issues related to the approval of certain technical documentation, but also to reduce the time losses associated with the signing of documents. The Balakovo NPP has accumulated rich experience in these matters,” said Oleg Trambovich, deputy head of the communications department of the Belarusian NPP.
In mastering new knowledge throughout the visit, colleagues from Belarus were assisted by specialists from the department of modernization and life extension, the department of information and communication technologies and the department of nuclear safety and reliability of the Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant.
