A joint project of the Communications Department of Rosenergoatom (part of the Electric Power Division of Rosatom) and the Digitalatom Center for Digital Platform Solutions for creation of an interactive emergency training simulator won the Eventiada IPRA Golden World Award 2021 international award in the field of communications in the category of the Best Project on crisis management.

Besides, the finalist of the award was project of Rosenergoatom on implementation of the communication strategy at the Kursk NPP. The results of the award and the winners were announced on December 7, 2021.

“Initially, we made an interactive simulator for our own needs, but during the development and implementation process, we found great interest in the product from colleagues in the PR industry. The product was tested and evaluated by colleagues from other Rosatom divisions. We also see that it can be in demand when preparing PR specialists and journalists for information response in the conditions of any emergency or crisis situations in various fields, for example, the banking sector, housing and communal services, oil, energy and other manufacturing industries, in the structures of government bodies during political PR campaigns and so on,” commented Andrey Timonov, director of the Communications Department of Rosenergoatom.

The results of the award in 2021 are summarized for the 11th time.

Eventiada IPRA GWA is the largest communications award in Eastern Europe, Russia, the CIS and Central Asia, regional partner of the IPRA Golden World Awards, a global competition run by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) since 1955.

This year, the international jury of Eventiada IPRA GWA, consisting of representatives of 35 business associations from 17 countries, evaluated the best practices from 15 countries. The participants included the largest international and national corporations, global and regional public organizations, federal and regional government bodies, and creative young people.

The list of the Eventiada IPRA GWA laureates was published on December 7 by the leading business publications in Europe, including in the Russian Kommersant newspaper.
